New Event During Community Days: Mud Bogs

People in Valley City have one more event to attend June 15 and 16 for Rally in the Valley community days. The first ever North Dakota Winter Show mud bogs will be that Saturday afternoon.
The mud bogs will be held outside on the west side of the Winter Show building Saturday, June 15; gates open at 2 p.m.
Mud bog are a race in which the goal is to drive a vehicle through a pit of mud of a set length. Winners are determined by the distance traveled through the pit.
Classes of vehicles allowed to compete are stock, modified, open and exhibition class. There's a $25 entry fee and $10 for exhibition. The Winter Show will take entries until June 10. Entry forms and rules are online at www.northdakotawintershow.com. To register, call (701) 845-1410 or stop by the Winter Show office located inside the Rosebud Visitors Center on Main Street in Valley City.
