The North Dakota Winter Show's Women's Division will no longer conduct any shows or programs during the annual agriculture show. Winter Show Manager Dawn Riley said liability issues has forced the Winter Show to take all events into its own hands.
Riley said that if any accidents were to happen at any of the events, the Winter Show would be liable, so "we're looking out for the best interest of the Winter Show."
Riley said the NDWS will form a committee to head the events that were previously headed by the women's division. The committee chair will be Beth Didier, and Riley said the Winter Show will ask the women's division members if they would be interested in being a part of that committee.
