Much Snow Predicted For Over The Weekend in Valley City Area

Friday was a snowy day in Valley City, a condition that returned Sunday afternoon and Monday morning to Valley City.

As of Friday, the national weather service predicted that snow would continue to spread across the region through much of the day, with possibly a brief break between the first round of snow and another one coming in from the northwest by afternoon.
Snow temporarily exited the area Friday night, then returned Sunday and Monday.
Another storm system took aim at the region Sunday afternoon through Monday. It was a significant storm with snow and blowing snow causing potential travel problems late Sunday night and Monday.
