Miklas Sentenced for Burglary

Andrew Miklas was sentenced in Barnes County District Court last week and will spend less than six months in prison for his role in an October church burglary.

Micklas, 25, of Valley City, plead guilty and was sentenced on May 6 to 161 days for one count of terrorizing, a class C felony; 161 days for one count of criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor; and 161 days for burglary, a class C felony, all for his role in a burglary of Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City, which Miklas is also charged with burning down in October. The sentences are to be served concurrently.
