Man Your Shovels; Mother Nature Strikes Again

Big, fluffy snowflakes drift from the sky Wednesday by the Sanford Clinic in Valley City before Mother Nature unleashes her fury with blizzard conditions Thursday.

Another blizzard is predicted for the area Thursday with one-to-two inches of snow and wind gusts of up to 65 miles-per-hour predicted for Valley City and the surrounding areas.

According to Jennifer Ritterling, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service in Grand Forks, the blizzard is part of a fairly potent system moving in from Saskatchewan with warm temperatures in the lead and cold following.
