Litchville Man Dies in Rollover

October 9, 2013

A 71-year-old Litchville man was killed Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle entered a ditch and rolled. Around 3:30 p.m. the man was driving a 1988 Chevrolet Corvette convertible westbound on a straight level portion of paved Barnes County Road 38, about half a mile north of Litchville, when his vehicle gradually drifted into the north ditch, according to a press release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The vehicle then rotated clockwise and rolled. The driver was ejected, and the vehicle and driver came to rest in a soybean field.
Agencies that responded to the scene were Barnes County Ambulance, NDHP, Litchville First Responders and Valley City Ambulance.
