Leadership Classes Available to Community

September 6, 2013

Jonelle Langemo, left, and Theresa Tangen, middle, talk to Rebecca Undem Tuesday at a luncheon held to inform the community about leadership classes available to locals.

The Valley City-Barnes County Development Corp. is teaming up with the Jamestown Chamber of Commerce and Dale Carnegie Business Group of North Dakota to offer servant leadership courses to individuals in Valley City and Jamestown.
The classes, which are put on by Dale Carnegie Training, a world-wide human resources and management consulting organization, allow people to get together and work on a community project together while gaining leadership skills.
A course called Dale Carnegie Skills for Success, is open to local employees at all levels in a corporation who seek to maximize their performance, become stronger leaders and add more value to the organization.
An advanced program called Community Leadership Program benefits established leaders who've taken the basic course and want to enhance their skills.
