Large Northern Caught in Sheyenne River

August 15, 2013

Jeremiah Komrosky, Valley City, caught an 18-pound northern "somewhere in the Sheyenne," mid June.
Komrosky, who works at Valley City State University, said as he was reeling the fish in, it felt like a log going down the river.
"As I was reeling it in, I could actually see it and as it got to the shore, it took a big leaping jump towards me," he said.
