High risk sex offender moves to Valley City

High risk sex offender, Tyler Wayne Delmore, 27, will be living at 135, 2nd St. southeast in Valley City.

The Valley City Police Department reports that a high risk sex offender will be living at 135 2nd St. southeast in Valley City.

Tyler Wayne Delmore, 27, was convicted of gross sexual imposition in Barnes County District Court on July 18, 2005 for having sex with a 14-year-old girl without a condom. Delmore was 19 at the time of the incident. He was sentenced to five years in prison with two years suspended and five years of supervised probation.

Delmore was also convicted of GSI on April 19, 1999 in Barnes County District Court for having sex with a 12-year-old girl, when he was 14. He was given probation for that charge.

Delmore is a 5'6", 157 pound Native American with brown eyes and black hair.

High risk offenders are statistically the most likely to commit another sexual offense. High risk offenders have typically committed more than one offense, have refused to engage in sex offender treatment or have engaged in behaviors that contribute to an elevated level of risk.
