Hi-Liner harriers finished in the Top 15 in every race at the Griggs County Central Meet on Saturday.

"The Hi-Liners had an outstanding meet in Cooperstown on Saturday," said Hi-Liner Cross Country Head Coach Brian Engelhard. "From the JH, to JV, to the Varsity, there were stand out performances all along the way. It has been awhile since I’ve been that pleased with the entire team racing as hard as they could. Comparing the last two seasons, we had 11 personal best times for their distances. Many of our younger runners are getting over the fear of racing at longer distances, and pushed themselves throughout the races. I was really proud of the way we ran on Saturday."

Leading the varsity races were Casey Engelhard with a 2nd-place finish behind Thomas Horgeshimer, last year’s State runner-up from Lisbon.
