Hi-Liner Boosters Throw Tailgate Party At VC Home-Opener Tonight.

August 31, 2012

Aug. 31 marks the Valley City Hi-Liners home-opener against the Dickinson Trinity Titans at 7 p.m. at Hanna Field. The game will also be the VC season opener after last Friday's game with Carrington was rained out.

The Hi-Liner Boosters will be throwing a free-will offering hamburger and brat tailgate party prior to the game at 5:15 p.m.

"The Hi-Liner Booster Club will also be conducting a membership drive during this event," said Hi-Liner Activities Director Dan Larson. "These memberships help fund the projects that give back to the youth in our community."

Valley City Public School and St. Catherine elementary students will also be receiving coupons at their schools that will provide free admittance for students at the Tuesday Hi-Liner volleyball match against Shanley and the Friday football game against Wahpeton.

Students will receive one free T-shirt from the Hi-Liner Boosters and can get them signed by the Valley City fall sports athletes. The Hi-Liner volleyball, cross county, girls golf and boys tennis teams will be signing T-shirts after the Tuesday's varsity match, and the football team will be signing after the Friday game.
