Harriet Gladys Brunner

Harriet Gladys Brunner, 65, Minot, ND, died Tuesday, October 22, 2013, in a Minot Nursing Home.
Harriet was born on August 16, 1948, in Fergus Falls, MN a daughter of Haldor and Hazel (Preitauer) Boen. She graduated from Kathryn, ND, High School and a short time later she moved to Bismarck, ND, where she attended Bismarck Junior College and worked for the State of North Dakota as a file clerk.
She met Klamantz "Klem" Brunner while working in Bismarck. On November 6, 1976, in Kathryn, ND, the couple was married. They lived in Minot where she babysat and worked as an Avon representative for 25 years. The couple had one son, Douglas, who passed away at the age of five. In July of 2011, she entered Trinity Homes in Minot, where she enjoyed activities such as Bingo and reading groups.
She was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Minot and was active in the church and with various ladies church groups. Her husband, Klem died on February 19, 2013.
She is survived by her sister, Lenora (James) Ziemba of Valley City, ND; nephews, Tim Ziemba of Fargo, ND and John Ziemba of Valley City; brothers in law, Kenneth Brunner of Willow City, ND and Mike (Cindy) Brunner of Minot; numerous other nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Klamantz; her son Douglas; and her parents.
Funeral: St. Paulís Lutheran Church, Minot, ND, on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.
Visitation: Friday, October 25, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Minot.
Burial: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot, ND
