Fort Ransom State Park will host a 10 am.-to-noon hike with the park manager on June 7, then celebrate Sunne Farm’s 100th anniversary on June 14 with a Visitor Appreciation Day, free of vehicle fees.
Old-fashioned kids games run from 1 p.m to 5 p.m., with free hot dogs, pop and hay rides.
A Sunne Farm dedication ceremony begins at 2 p.m. Bluegrass music by Cotton Wood begins at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
All activities are at no charge, though a free will offering will be taken to help defray expenses.
Sunne Farm is located inside Fort Ransom State Park. Hikers will meet at Bjone House Visitor Center, also located just inside the park, and are encouraged to dress for the weather and to bring bug spray and a water bottle.
