FEMA to talk flooding at Jan. 26 town hall

Local, state and federal officials are set to hold a flood preparedness town hall meeting at the Barnes County Courthouse in the Commission Meeting Room Thursday, Jan. 26 from 6-9 p.m.

Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the state Emergency Services department, as well as representatives from the State Water Commission and local emergency services will be on hand to present and hear residents' flood concerns. Topics will include the 2012 flood outlook, as well as discussion of flood insurance and flood risk mitigation.
