Evidence Lost in Flooding

Flood water filled the basement of the Valley City Law Enforcement Center after Thursday's storm which dumped four to seven inches of rain on the area. The building suffered extensive damage that extends to the evidence lockers which held evidence to be used in criminal cases.

Last week's flooding damaged the basement of the Valley City Law Enforcement Center where evidence in several criminal cases was held. With evidence compromised by flood waters, officials believe some court cases may be lost or dismissed. For more on this story, read Wednesday's Times-Record.
