June 3, 2014

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said the name of the driver killed in a crash near Fingal early Monday morning is Timothy Stark of Wausau, Wisc.

The accident occurred on Highway 32, 10 miles south of I-94 near Fingal. Stark, 56, was northbound on Highway 32 and entered a curve. While negotiating the curve, the SUV crossed the southbound lane and partially drove off the west shoulder, according to Sergeant Tom Herzig of the North Dakota State Patrol.

Stark steered to the right and overcorrected. The vehicle slid sideways into the east ditch and rolled. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
