Department of Transportation Goes Mobile

The North Dakota Department of Transportation has launched a mobile version of their website in the form of a smartphone application. In addition, they also launched an email and text message service to disseminate information to the public.
The new app enables access to NDDOT’s travel information map from a smartphones and smart devices and tablets, providing an overview of road conditions within North Dakota.
Advanced options allow users to add/remove map layers, save favorites, view cameras, search by keyword and select common routes.
