Dakota College at Bottineau Hosts Open House at VCSU

April 16, 2012

Over the past few years, Dakota College at Bottineau has been busy collaborating with Valley City State University (VCSU) to deliver several associate degree programs on the VCSU campus, such as: Medical Assistant, Caregiver Services (child and adult), Paraeducation, and Nursing. Students in these programs can enjoy the conveniences of staying close to home, while completing their degrees through Dakota College.

In addition, students who are interested in attending VCSU but do not meet the admission requirements can enroll in Dakota College’s Bridges Program and complete classes for one year before transferring to VCSU.

Dakota College at Bottineau is hosting its first Open House for prospective students and their families on Tuesday, April 17th from 4pm-7pm in the VCSU Student Center. Those interested in learning more about these programs are encouraged to attend. If you can’t attend the open houses on April 17th, two other open houses are planned for July 17th and October 16th.

For more information about the DCB Open House or any of the Dakota College Programs available on the VCSU campus, please contact Joy Smith, Dakota College Program Coordinator, by phone 701.845.7490 or by email
