May 17, 2013

The 9-1-1 dispatch center will be moved to the basement of the Barnes County Courthouse.

Barnes County is prepared to spend up to $20,360 to remodel the county courthouse basement to ready space for a new 9-1-1 dispatch center on top of the estimated $63,000 estimated to move the center.
At a special Barnes County Commission meeting on Thursday, commissioners voted to move forward with the remodel project 3-1 with commissioner John Froelich voting no and commissioner Phil Leitner absent.
