Community to Compete in Annual Chili Cook-off, Community Olympics

Participants compete in last year's community olympics event, the horse sneeze. The annual event, which will take place Monday, has a total of six games, in which community members, groups, businesses and organizations will compete.

The Valley City Area Chamber of Commerce's annual chili cook-off and community olympics are scheduled Monday evening to kick off the North Dakota Winter Show.

The annual events, which are known as friendly and fun competition among community members, groups, businesses and organizations, will take place at the Winter Show's main arena. Sign-up forms are on the Chamber's website, www.valleycitychamber.com, and must be sent by Saturday. The chili cook-off begins at 5:30 p.m., and the community olympics begin at 7 p.m.
