Monday, July 13
A farmers market will be held in the Rosebud Visitors Center parking lot in Valley City from 4-6 p.m.

The Sisters of Mary of the Presentation invite the community to help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Maryvale and The Year of Consecrated Life. Mass with Bishop John Folda will be held at 4 p.m., and an open house will follow from 5:30-7:30 p.m. There will be a light supper served and tours available. Maryvale is located at 11550 River Road, just outside of Valley City.

Abused Persons Outreach Center will have a spaghetti supper and bake sale fundraiser from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the VFW in Valley City. Proceeds from the free-will offering will directly assist victims of domestic violence in the community.

Wednesday, July 15
Music at the Barnes County Courthouse features Mikey Meester and Eric Johnson from Valley City. The program begins at 7:15 p.m. Bring your own lawn chairs. A freewill offering will be taken. In case of inclement weather, the program will be at the Vault on Central Avenue.

Thursday, July 16
District 24 GOP community picnic will be held at 6 p.m. at the Lake Ashtabula Dam Recreation area. Everyone is welcome.

A farmers market will be held in the parking lot of Shopko in Valley City from 4-6 p.m.

Friday, July 17
The annual Buffalo High School homecoming will be held in the historic 1916 Buffalo High School in Buffalo, N.D. Call (701) 412-4485 for more information.

Saturday, July 18
The 10th annual Litchville Main Street Car Show will be held in Litchville, N.D. all day, rain or shine. The event features cars, trucks, tractors and motorcycles — any make, any model and any year. There is no entry fee, and registration begins at 8 a.m.

Buffalo, N.D. will celebrate 135 years at Shuffle Off to Buffalo community days. The event features a parade at 10 a.m., car show at 5 p.m., 5K run/walk, vintage tractor and machinery display, radio-controlled airplane show, life-size foosball games, vendors and crafts, kids games, bingo, little princess pageant, street dance and more.
