The North Dakota Good Sam Rally will be held at the Valley City Eagles Club.

Monday, August 7
A blood drive will be held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Valley City. For an appointment, call the church office at 701-845-1328 or Pastor Randy at 701-541-1419.

Barnes County Senior Center bone builders exercise is at 9:30 a.m. and a whist tournament is at 1:15 p.m.

Farmers Market will be in the Shopko parking lot in Valley City from 4-6 p.m.

Valley View Neighborhood Block party will be held at 6 p.m. at 322 15th St. NE, Valley City.

Tuesday, August 8
Barnes County Senior Center pinochle is at 1:15 p.m.

Wednesday, August 9
Barnes County Senior Center bone builders exercise is at 9:30 a.m. and whist is at 1:15 p.m.

Music in the Park, featuring Kroshus and Krew, will be held in the Valley City City Park Bandshell at 7:15 p.m. MarketPlace Food is providing a picnic supper for up to 250 people starting at 6:30 p.m. In the event of inclement weather, the program will be relocated to the Eagles Club. Attendants should bring their own lawn chair or blanket and mosquito spray.

Thursday, August 10
Barnes County Senior Center pinochle is at 1:15 p.m.

The Monroe Doctrine, a local bluegrass band, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vault Coffee Shop, Bakery and Center for the Arts in Valley City.

Cruise the Valley will be held on Central Avenue in Valley City from 5 to 8 p.m.

Friday, August 11
Registration for Valley City junior and senior high students will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Hi-Liner Activity Center. Grades seven through nine register in the junior high office, and grades 10 through 12 register in the senior high office.

Barnes County Senior Center bone builders exercise is at 9:30 a.m. and bingo is at 1 p.m.

Saturday, August 12
The monthly Bluegrass Jam Session held at the Barnes County Museum will take place from 1-5 p.m.

“Robby” Vee and his Rock -N-Roll Caravan Concert, celebrating 100 years of Red Willow Resort, will be held from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the resort’s pavilion.

Thursday, August 10-Sunday, August 13
