Change of Plea Hearings Set for Faith Arson Suspects

Andrew Miklas, 25, and Nicole Lindermann, 18, are expected to plead guilty to arson and burglary charges for their roles in the October arson of Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City.

Change of plea hearings for both suspects are scheduled in Barnes County District Court for Aug. 25. Lindermann's plea hearing will be held at 2 p.m. Miklas' hearing is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.

According to Barnes County State's Attorney Carl Matrineck, Miklas plans to plead guilty to felony charges of arson, endangering by fire and two counts of burglary along with one count of misdemeanor theft of property.
Lindermann is expected to plead guilty to felony conspiracy to commit arson and conspiracy to commit burglary along with misdemeanor conspiracy to commit theft.
