Brady Anderson Repeats as NSAA Baseball Player of the Week

Valley City State sophomore right fielder Brady Anderson is your back-to-back North Star Athletic Association Baseball Player of the Week.

Anderson, the 5-foot-10-inch Jamestown, N.D. native, enjoyed a .593 batting average and a 1.148 slugging percentage as the Vikings posted a 3-3 record between March 24 and March 31. He hit for the cycle in March 29’s 23-8 win at Dickinson State in which he powered for a two-run homer, an RBI triple, a three-run double and a total of eight RBIs.

Anderson recorded at least three hits in four games last week, went 16-for-27 at the plate, scored 11 runs and brought in 16 RBIs. He turned in four doubles, a triple and smashed three home runs. Anderson upped his season batting average to .467, is slugging .761 and has driven in 31 runs in 23 games.
