The Bonanzaville museum and pioneer village in West Fargo has a church again.
A year after a fire heavily damaged the 118-year-old church that was on the grounds of Bonanzaville, the South Pleasant Lutheran church near Christine has been transplanted to the museum.
WDAY-TV reports the church rolled through roads at about 10 to 15 mph until it arrived to its new home. Moving the building also involved frequent stops along the way and a temporary shutdown of the interstate.
The church dates back to 1890. Bonanzaville expects to have it up and running by November.
