Albert Nickel, 87, Valley City, formerly of Willow City, died Monday, May 12, 2008, in a Jamestown health care center.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2 p.m., in the Willow Creek Lutheran Church of rural Willow City. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
Arrangements are with Nero Funeral Home of Bottineau.

Milton M. Tinjum, 82, Arthur, N.D., formerly of Buffalo, N.D., died Sat., May 10, 2008 in the Good Samaritan Center in Arthur.
The funeral is Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Thomas Catholic Church, Buffalo.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 6:30 p.m., and a prayer service at 7 p.m. in West Funeral Home, Casselton, and one hour before the service in the church.

A memorial service is  Saturday, May 17, 2008, at 2 p.m., at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Page. Burial is in Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.

The funeral for Lyle E. Peterson, 84, Valley City, is at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church, Valley City. Rev. Brandon Woodruff will officiate, along with Wendell Kopperud. Burial with military honors will be in Memory Gardens near Valley City. He died Wednesday morning, May 7, 2008, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of the Red River Valley.
Visitation is Friday from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.  A prayer service will be held there beginning at 7 p.m.  Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service in the church on Saturday.
