The funeral for Jack Rose, 79, Wimbledon, is at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at St. John’s United Methodist Church, Wimbledon. Rev. Jeff Levy will officiate and burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery, Wimbledon. He died at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, on July 2, 2008.
Visitation is on Monday, July 7, 2008, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel with a prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue an hour prior to the service in the church on Tuesday.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel of Valley City.

Warren Christianson, 70, Valley City, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Valley City in the comfort of family and friends.
 A memorial service is at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Faith Lutheran Church in Valley City with Wendell Kopperud officiating.  Friends may meet the family one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home, Valley City, is in charge of arrangements.

Florence “Snookie” Irene Kieley Lane, 92, died June, 30, 2008, at Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.
 The funeral is at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 3, 2008, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 138 Third Street NW, Valley City. with Rev. Mark Ostgarden officiating. Because of work being done at the church, friends are asked to use the north entrance. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Cemetery at Valley City.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 2, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a prayer service following at Our Saviors’s Lutheran Church.
 There is a scholarship fund in her name “Florence Lane Nursing Scholarship,” NDSCS, 800 Sixth Street N., Wahpeton, N.D., 58075-9989.
Funeral arrangements are by Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City.

Gordon Pritchett, 63, Valley City, died Monday, June 30, 2008. at his residence under Hospice of the Red River Valley Care.
The funeral is at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008, at Grace Free Lutheran Church in Valley City with Rev. Terry Olson officiating. Interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery near Valley City.
A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday at Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home.  
Visitation is on Thursday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Lerud-Johnson-Schuldt Funeral Home in Valley City and one hour before the service on Saturday morning.

Mary C. (Legge) Jones, 62, Anchorage Alaska, died April 16, 2008, at Providence Extended  Care Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.
A funeral Mass was held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on  May 1, 2008, in Anchorage.
 A committal service is scheduled at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Sanborn, at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 5, 2008. A lunch will follow at Sacred Heart Church in Sanborn following the committal service.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Greg Legge.
