December 30, 2013

Ron Berge, front row left, his wife Ruth, back row left, his daughter Debbie, back row right, and his granddaughter Christine, front row right, all dressed in North Dakota State University Bison gear, stand in front of Ron's ironwood bison collection at his farm home near Dazey. Ron, a dedicated Bison fan, has a collection of well over 100 bison throughout his house.

When rural Dazey man Ron Berge watches the North Dakota State University Bison football team compete for their third national championship Saturday, he'll be surrounded by family and his huge bison herd collection.
Ron is a dedicated Bison fan. He began collecting hard ironwood Bison some years after graduating from NDSU with a mechanical engineering degree in 1960.
