With a new executive vice president on board, a new Valley City Area of Chamber Commerce assistant, and growth within the Winter Show, Valley City is at a point that the Chamber doesn't want to miss.
Kay Vinje, who will become the executive vice president of the Chamber June 1, said, "The whole nation is looking at North Dakota right now, and then we're (Valley City) nestled in this perfect area. We've got people not wanting to live on the western side of the state, so we've got people calling from all over the nation wanting to move to Valley City."
Because of that, Chamber staff plan to put their best efforts forward to work with their members, expanding businesses and making people aware of what the community has to offer.
