BC Schools Place At State

Valley City Junior High School students Chelsea Olauson and Ashley Gabehart work on their Keep the Heat project in the March 27 regional Science Olympiad at Valley City State University. The team took fourth place in the State Science Olympiad.

Students in the Maple Valley and Valley City School Districts placed in both the junior and senior high divisions of the State Science Olympiad at North Dakota State University Saturday.
In the junior high school division, the Maple Valley team came in seventh with 343 points and
Valley City junior high students Sarah Montecuollo and Madison Anderson were named champions in the food science category, while Anderson and Tabatha Branam were champions in the shock value category.
