Valley City Public School District Superintendent Dean Koppelman said Thursday at first glance a promise to dramatically increase state aid for public schools could be a boon for Valley City.
As of Thursday, Koppelman said he had not yet heard from Kirsten Baesler, North Dakota superintendent of public instruction, about a 56.7 percent expected increase in state aid for education for the next biennium, but, â€śThat sounds very, very good.â€ť
