Arrive Alive: VC Officials Demonstrate Mock Car Crash

May 8, 2014

This photo is not of a real accident but of a pre-prom exercise for VCHS students to show the very real perils of driving intoxicated or distracted, riding with an intoxicated driver and not wearing seatbelts. First responders from Valley City Fire and rescue used extrication equipment to remove this accident victim from a vehicle during Wednesday's accident.

Juniors and seniors at Valley City Senior High School were witnesses to a mock accident Wednesday that was intended to demonstrate the very real perils of driving while intoxicated or distracted; riding with an intoxicated driver; or riding in a vehicle, whether as a driver or passenger, without seatbelts.
