Another Monday Snow Day

Road crews clear the streets of heavy, wet snow Monday after the area received up to 12 inches of snow Sunday into Monday.

Snow kept schools and some businesses from opening another Monday this year after nine to 12 inches of heavy, wet snow fell on the area from Sunday morning to Monday afternoon. The winter storm, which was deemed a blizzard Sunday afternoon, mimics several others like it this year.
The winter storm was the fourth Sunday-Monday fiasco this year that resulted in closed schools and businesses and cancelled activities Monday as road crews scrambled to get the streets cleaned.
