16 PRs at Fargo South Classic

The Hi-Liner boys relay team of Lindgren, freshman Eli Allen, sophomore Gabe Brown and Halgrimson took fifth at 1:40.02 for six points in the 4x200-meter Relay, then took sixth at 48.24 seconds for four points in the 4x100-meter Relay.

Hi-Liner track and field set 16 new personal records at Friday’s Fargo South Classic Invite, from which the boys team took fifth of five teams with 41 points.

New personal records include:

Sophomore John Halgrimson’s 19-foot, 4-inch Long Jump for second place and eight points

Junior Ashley Durheim’s 74.96 seconds in the 400-meter Dash for 11th and six team points

Freshman Caleb Reign’s 45-foot, 2-inch Discus Throw and 77-foot, 3-inch Javelin Throw

Freshman Hunter Olstad’s 45-foot, 1-inch Javelin Throw

Sophomore Lucas Jury’s 25.98 seconds in the 200-meter Dash

Sophomore Camille Kawasaki’s 34.16 seconds in the 200-meter Dash

Sophomore Ellie Winter’s 29-foot, 9-inch Triple Jump

Sophomore Grace Ihry’s 15-foot Long Jump

Sophomore Heidi Mundfrom’s 34.12 seconds in the 200-meter Dash

Sophomore Jessica Ronning’s 33.15 seconds in the 200-meter Dash

Sophomore Marissa Hochstetler’s 15.23 seconds in the 100-meter Dash and 75.65 seconds in the 400-meter Dash

Sophomore Tabatha Branam’s 17.02 seconds in the 100-meter Dash and 36.26 seconds in the 200-meter Dash

Sophomore Tory Hafele’s 52-foot Discus Throw

Next for Valley City is Saturday’s 1 p.m. Eastern Dakota Conference Regional Meet in Grand Forks, N.D.
