Maple Valley 5-foot-10-inch sophomore forward Rylee Nudell scored 21 points on Friday to help top seed Maple Valley beat No. 8 Richland 51-41 in the first round of the District 2 Tournament, then scored 33 points — 23 in the first half — and snagged 12 rebounds in a 50-41 win over No. 4 Oak Grove.

The Raiders face 6-foot-3-inch senior center Faith Dooley and No. 2 Central Cass, who defeated No. 7 Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page 59-39 on Friday and No. 6 Northern Cass 56-39 on Saturday, in the championship game, 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Fargo Civic Center. Dooley went for a 15-point, 13-rebound double-double against FSHP, 35 points and 14 rebounds against Northern Cass.
