Hi-Liner wrestling, ranked 10th in North Dakota and fifth in the East Region in the second Class A Wrestling Coaches' Poll released Thursday, made spirits bright on Saturday with 188 team points, six weight class championships and a Valley City Christmas Tournament trophy.

Hi-Liner 8th-grader Rylee Bjork opened Tuesday night's match against Devils Lake with a pin, and seniors Mark Miller, Dustin Lindgren and sophomore Jordan Magnuson scored pins of their own as Valley City evened their Eastern Dakota Conference record at 2-2 and put their overall record above .500 at 5-4 overall with a 54-21 win.
