Rolette/Wolford 6-foot senior forward Rae Beaver and Waverly/South Shore 5-foot-11-inch senior point guard/forward Mikaela Fischer have signed with Valley City State women’s basketball, interim head women’s coach Lavesa Glover announced Thursday.

17 Express Wrestlers Make Top 6’s at State

Valley City Express Wrestling sent 27 contenders to March 29’s State Folkstyle Tournament in Bismarck, where 17 placed in the Top 6 of their respective divisions to earn All-State distinction.

Prior to the Individuals Tournament, Express competed in the State Dual Team Tournament and took 3 of 4 duals for third place.

Participants on the dual team were Kolt Grebel, Koye Grebel, Corbyn Powell, Ethan Miller, Broden Muske, Tyson Hovland, Bennett Rogelstad, Ethan Langemo, Austin Rogelstad, Blake Hagen, Parker Larson, Cayden Lloyd and Callen Oestern.

Falcon Fastpitch Grinds Grafton

Enderlin/Maple Valley fastpitch softball preyed on Grafton’s catching struggles at home plate to the tune of an 11-1 and 14-4 doubleheader sweep in arboreal Buffalo, N.D. — the first games ever played at the field — on Thursday night.

Former Valley City Pharmacist Accused of Selling Pain-Killers
