BC Agrees to Clean Eckelson Property

Barnes County will clean up property ruled a public nuisance in Eckelson. Meeting Tuesday, Barnes County Commissioners approved a request by Marcie Bata of the City-County Health District to clean up property on Second Street in Eckelson owned by David Maack. Valley City Adding 42 Unit Apartment Building

George Gaukler and Jennifer Feist of the Barnes County-Valley City Development Corp. told Valley City Public School Board members during their regular Monday meeting that a 42 unit multi-family housing development will soon be built on the corner of Ninth Avenue and 12th Street Northwest.

Valley City State University will host its third annual Earth Day Festival Tuesday, April 22, from 5:30–9:00 p.m. at Medicine Wheel Park in Valley City. The festival will highlight the celebration of Earth Week, with other events planned on the VCSU campus and Valley City throughout the week.
