North Dakota took 24th in Greco-Roman action and 18th in Freestyle.
Legion Post 60 fell in June 16â€™s doubleheader at LaMoure, 14-8 and 7-2.
LaMoure led 10-0 through two innings in the opener, and Post 60 scored a run in the third and fourth, two in the fifth and four in the seventh, but the rally fell short. Legion posted eight hits and two errors, LaMoure 16 hits and three errors.
Masyn Olsen and Austen Meyer picked up two hits and Jesse Johnson batted in three runs.
Austin Berg pitched four innings and struck out three, Dalton Ondracek
a single inning. Meyer fanned two batters.
Adam Maresh won three power lifting gold medals and Jennifer Bennett a track and field silver medal in representation of Valley City and North Dakota in June 14-21â€™s Special Olympics USA Games in Princeton, N.J., from which Team North Dakota came away with nine gold medals, four silver and seven bronze.
North Dakota, featuring 34 athletes and 10 coaches, competed in Athletics (Track and Field), Aquatics, Bowling, Powerlifting, Unified
Bocce, Unified Soccer and Unified Volleyball.
Dawson Dietrich landed five of 31 Valley City hits on Tuesday as Babe Ruth scored 13 first-inning runs, six in the second, seven in the third and six in the fourth to demolish Edgeley, 32-1.

Valley City Public Schools announced Monday that Mr. James â€śJimmyâ€ť Howard is the new Hi-Liner head girls basketball coach.
Howard is in his second year as an educator in Valley City working with the Sheyenne Valley Special Education Unit, and will begin his first year as head coach of the girls basketball program. Howard is also a Valley City junior high football coach and head junior high track coach.
Mark Anderson and Blake Didier accomplished the formidable task of shooting 25 of 25 clay pigeon rounds at the Valley City Trap Club, Anderson in early May and Didier on June 10.
Didier pulled off a 23-of-25 first round before pulling off a 25-of-25 second round.
â€śI just focused,â€ť said Didier, who employed a 12-gauge shotgun for the outing.
Valley Cityâ€™s course puts five shooters at five stations, 16 yards from the targets, with each shooter firing at five targets at each post.
Valley City Babe Ruth blew into wind-whipped Tornado Alley in Oakes, N.D., on Monday night, leading 12-0 after three District innings for a 14-0 five-inning triumph before scoring six runs in the non-District fourth to take the closer, 6-1.
â€śThis game could have been close to the most complete game we have played all year,â€ť said Babe Ruth head coach Lance Lukes of the opener. â€śFrom every aspect of the game we performed well, and did a lot of the little executing that needs to be done.â€ť
Valley City State University menâ€™s basketball coach Jeff Kaminsky announced on Friday that 6-foot-1-inch guard Marcus Weeks of Yuma, Ariz., has signed a letter of intent to attend Valley City State and play basketball for the Vikings this fall.
A three-year starter and Gila Ridge High Schoolâ€™s leading scorer in 2013, his senior season, Weeks averaged 14.3 points, 5.1 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 2.8 steals per game as he helped Gila Ridge High School to a 17-11 record this season.
June 14 saw the very first Valley City Alumni Tennis Tournament that featured over 23 past players from teams including Valley City State varsity, the Valley City State Viking Club, Valley City High School, the Valley City Tennis Association and Valley City Parks and Recreation.
The final matches were not completed due to rain. Money raised from the event supports Valley Cityâ€™s tennis programs and facilities.
