Hi-Liner Football has a few reminders for this Friday's game against Grafton:
1. The south street entrance to Hanna Field is still under construction and will not be open this week. VCHS asks all fans to enter through the west gate and apologizes for the inconvenience and anticipates that it will be open for the next home game on Sept. 27th vs. Maple Valley/Enderlin.
2. Stoudt-Ross Ford will host a chili dog feed on the south side of the grand stands starting at 5 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come out and support the tailgate. All proceeds will go to the Valley City Booster Club.
Valley City Youth Bowling gets rolling this Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 14-15).
Saturday Youth League for boys and girls, grades K-6, begins at 9 a.m.
Sunday Youth League, grades 7-12, begins this Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
VC Youth Bowling is open to all area youth. Valley City has an open membership program, so new members may join any time during the season.

The North Star Athletic Association will recognize the inaugural season at each member institution’s first home conference event by throwing a commemorative t-shirt into the fan sections as significant landmarks are reached for the first time by the home team.
Each NSAA sport that sponsors a championship event throughout the year will have landmark ‘firsts’ in the history of the NSAA that will trigger a t-shirt toss into the fan section.
Fans are encouraged to attend to help celebrate the milestones as they come along, according to NSAA Commissioner Cory Anderson.
