The Maple Valley High School girls basketball team had another close game in its rivalry with Valley City Saturday at W.E. Osmon Fieldhouse, but ultimately the Raiders did what they needed to, beating the Hi-Liners 46-43 in overtime to win their second straight Barnes County Girls Basketball Tournament championship.
It was the second consecutive time year the teams have met in the championship game, with Maple Valley getting the win both times after losing to Valley City in overtime earlier in the year.
