RedHawks beat T-Bones 3-1
FARGO — Fargo/Moorhead RedHawks starter Tyler Herron struck out eight batters and gave up only one earned run in over seven innings a the 3-1 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones Sunday at Newman Outdoor Field.
There isn’t much that can change a baseball game’s momentum more than a big home run.
But after allowing a two-run game-tying dinger to deep centerfield in the third inning of the team’s second game with Lidgerwood Friday at Charlie Brown Memorial Field, Valley City Post 60 pitcher Austen Meyer was determined to keep his chin up.
“You’ve just got to come back and get the next guy,” Meyer said.
Instead, he and the rest of his team responded in the best way possible.
