Turnout was big for the 9/11 tribute ride Sunday. Sponsored by the local chapter of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, the event was held as a way to honor the memories of the men and women who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Money raised during the event will go to local fire and accident victims.
Tails wagged and paws hit the pavement Sunday afternoon during the Sheyenne Valley Friends of Animals annual wag-and-walk-a-thon, a fundraiser for the local animal rescue group.
