Valley City paleontologist Alan Komrosky held a farewell party for Bob, the triceratops he and his team dug up in Bowman County and put together over the past 10 years, Saturday, before the dinosaur heads to the Barnes County Museum.
The Valley City Public School Board voted on an estimated $300,000 to $400,000 in general fund budget cut proposals during a special meeting Thursday. That amount is lower than the $530,000 proposed Monday, because the board plans to reconsider some cuts.
