VCSU Scholarship Auction Takes A Road Trip

The 21st annual Valley City State University Scholarship Auction — with the theme “Road Trip USA: All Roads Lead to VCSU” — will be held Friday, April 24, at the Valley City Eagles Club.  

The Eagles Club will be transformed into famous U.S. tourist stops for the event, and all attendees are encouraged to dress in themed attire.

The Valley City Health, Wellness and Physical Education Center moved another step toward fruition with the opening of bids for the project Thursday.

The bids received for all construction areas were over $1 million under the budget based on a $17 million project.

Charities Noted for Giving Hearts success

Charities serving Valley City were noted as some of the most successful in this year's February Giving Hearts Day, according to the Dakota Medical Foundation.
On Thursday the foundation announced an official total of $6,967,612 raised through Giving Hearts Day in February.
