Ken Evenson Remembered

July 9, 2014

Former Valley City Commissioner Kenneth Evenson of Valley City, 77, passed Wednesday, July 2, at his Valley City residence. At the time he was serving as a manager on the board for the Barnes County Water Resource District.
Evenson also worked as a lineman for Cass County Electric and Valley City. Evenson is survived by wife Dotty; daughter Deborah Ramsay; son Jeffrey Evenson, a medical doctor; and several grandchildren.
He also served as an honor guard with the American Vets Club.

Organizers of the Debbie Gable Memorial Ride are seeking help from the community in the form of donations for the live and silent auctions that will be held in conjunction with the sixth annual ride to raise money for Hospice of the Red River Valley.
