The North Dakota National Guard plans to build two new structures totaling more than 45,000 square feet at its new Valley City Guard property east of the city off Interstate 94. More in Wednesday's issue of the Times-Record.
An open house to teach the community about the Dakota College at Bottineau programs on the Valley City State University campus is planned for Thursday, July 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Skoal Room at VCSU's Student Center.
Litchville native Tate Smith has organized the Third Annual Ride the Hide Bull Bash, to be followed by the Andrea "Annie" Arbuckle Memorial Shootout, on Aug. 30 in Litchville, said his mother, Connie Smith. More in Wednesday's issue of the Times-Record.
At the request of Barnes County Sheriff Randy McClaflin, the Times-Record will begin featuring a wanted felon each Wednesday as a way to enlist the public's help in locating individuals who have felony warrants out for their arrest.
The first wanted felon in the project is Tyler Delmore, who is wanted for a felony and a number of misdemeanor charges.
