Precision Ag Summit in Jamestown

January 20, 2014

A Precision Agriculture Summit is set today (Monday) and Tuesday in Jamestown, said Sadie Rudolph of Flint Communications. Times for the summit will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, and will take place at the North Dakota Farmers Union Conference Center, 1415 12thAve. SE. Kathryn woman Ginger Helland, who lives in Oak Hill Township, faces several charges in Barnes County for mistreatment and improper disposal of several horses that died from starvation.

Group Raising Money to Provide Service Dogs to ND Vets

A local group of people called, Team Paws4WARD, plans to host a "Purses for a Purpose" event to secure funds for North Dakota veterans in need of a service dog for their invisible wounds, said Crystal Nehlich, who's on the team with Karmel Wanzek and Nathan McGough.
