An accusation regarding the safety of Pizza Corner pizza last week was found to be unsubstantiated, according to a spokesman with the USDA.
Public Affairs Specialist for the USDA, Richard McIntire, told Valley News Live, â€śThere was no issue. We looked into an unfounded food safety concern.â€ť
Following a six-hour hold on sales Wednesday, Oct. 23, Pizza Corner vendors were told pizzas were safe to serve and sell.
