New Counselor Added to Creative Therapy

A new mental health counselor has been added to Creative Therapy, which opened in Valley City this year. Mary Burchill (Weshnevski) joins owner and mental health counselor Jennifer Eberle in offering mental health services to residents in the area — a significant need health officials say. Buddy Bench Aims to Eliminate Loneliness on the Playground

Barnes County North has a new "Buddy Bench" on its playground. The bench will be placed on the playground to help students seek inclusion among their peers. Students at BCN have pledged that if they see a student on the bench they will go and ask the student to join in their recess activities. More in Thursday's Times-Record.
